It's time to breathe in the crisp air of a new season, as many of us spent the colder days primarily indoors. There are various opportunities to have a great time outside, including a thrilling ride on the Branson mountain coaster and many other exciting excursions in amusement parks.

Branson, surrounded by the stunning Ozark Mountains, has a wide range of springtime activities and exhilarating outdoor adventures. Here are a few exciting outdoor things you may enjoy in Branson on a spring day.

Branson Mountain Adventure Park

The Runaway Coaster at Branson Mountain Adventure Park is one of Missouri's newest mountain attractions, providing a bundle of adventure and fun for the entire family. The Runaway, Branson's first mountain adventure, offers a unique ride experience that allows sports enthusiasts to enjoy the gorgeous natural surroundings around the Ozark Mountains.

The Runaway will race down the Ozark slope at 30 mph, weaving in and around trees and past magnificent scenery, providing each rider with a fantastic ride experience. Ziplines, mountain Segways, and a treetop course are among the activities available at the park in addition to the Branson mountain coaster.

World-Class Golf

Branson has swiftly become a popular destination for many golf fans after being recognized as a preferred destination by many professional players. Branson's golf courses have been lauded by The Golf Wire, Dick's Sporting Goods, and Forbes, establishing the Ozarks as a Midwest hot spot for golfers of all ages and skill levels.

Why play anywhere else when courses designed by golf legends such as Tom Watson, Arnold Palmer, Tom Fazio, John Daly, Tiger Woods, Ben Crenshaw, and Bill Coore are available? Gather your golfing mates and spend a late morning on the fairways.

Zoo Days

Seeing animals up close and personal at Branson's Promised Land Zoo is a fantastic opportunity to spend time with the zoo's furry friends. You will be able to engage with both exotic and domesticated animals here.

You may see live animal shows or go through Parakeet Paradise, a free-flying area where you can feed and play with Parakeets, by taking a trip to the zoo. You can also have a popular guest experience with the sloth encounter, in which you interact with and hold a live sloth.

Nature Parks

Table Rock State Park's magnificent outdoors is ideal for a picnic, hike, or horseback ride around the lake. Guests can use picnic tables, pavilions, and other amenities. While you're there, take a stroll down the Lakeside Trail or the Chinquapin Trail and take in the majesty of the Ozark Mountains. Finish the day with a game of sand volleyball at the top field.

Stockstill Park is one of Branson's largest parks, built around Roark Creek. With pavilions, woodland walking routes, and open fields ideal for putting down a blanket and a basket, this large park is perfect for picnics. In addition, the park has tennis courts, softball fields, a dog park, a skate park, and a large playground for your children's delight.

This spring, Dogwood Canyon Nature Park is a terrific spot to enjoy outdoor activities while discovering the beauty of flora and fauna. This nature park, located south of Branson near the Missouri-Arkansas border, offers a variety of exciting activities for people of all ages. Self-guided walking or biking tours, guided tram tours, horseback riding, and trout fishing are just a few outdoor activities available at Dogwood Canyon Nature Park.

Alexander Park and Sunset Park are among the best parks to enjoy the great outdoors near Historic Downtown Branson. With a combination of grassland, trees, fields, and paths, these parks are ideal for a day of enjoyable activities for your party.

Spring in Branson is a beautiful time to enjoy the great outdoors with fantastic springtime ride adventures. An exciting adventure ride on the Branson mountain coaster is just one example.
