Many families with children may consider the many fun activities at Table Rock Lake in Branson a dream come true. The lake has a variety of exciting water activities for you to enjoy.

Table Rock Lake, named a top family-friendly lake in America, is a premier family travel destination in the Ozarks. After you have experienced a thrilling ride on the Branson mo roller coaster, this is the place to go during the summer season. With so many water activities available around the lake, it's no surprise that families choose to spend their vacations at Table Rock Lake year after year.

Swim at the Beach

Table Rock Lake has nearly 800 miles of shoreline, including the popular Moonshine Beach. This sandy beach opens its doors in the last month of the spring season and remains open until September, so don't miss out on a fantastic getaway for a family picnic, swimming, or camping. Make sure to spend some time here as you will see spectacular views of the beautiful lakeside scenery. It is located on the north end of Table Rock Lake near Table Rock Dam.

This tranquil sandy beach has excellent amenities such as a children's play area, a pavilion, food vendors, restrooms, and showers. Moonshine Beach also has a boat launching ramp, which is ideal for enjoying excellent water sports activities like fishing, boating, parasailing, jet-skiing, wave runners, and more. So have some fun and spend a relaxing escapade at Moonshine Beach if you want to experience a more exciting water activity after a thrilling ride on the Branson mo roller coaster.

Cast Your Line and Go Fishing

Table Rock Lake is popular among anglers because of its diverse fish population, including everything from bass to catfish. If you enjoy competitive fishing, you can participate in one of the many tournaments held throughout the year. Visitors can also hire a guide for a private fishing tour. Those who do not own a fishing boat can rent one from Long Creek Marina for extra convenience.

If you want to catch more, Table Rock Lake has excellent bluegill, catfish, and three types of black bass – largemouth, smallmouth, and spotted. Table Rock Lake, known for its crystal clear water, is popular with boaters, scuba divers, and swimmers during the summer. However, the lake is much quieter in the autumn months, and with the autumn foliage on the shorelines, it can be the most scenic time of year.

Explore the Lake by Boat

Boating is arguably the most popular Table Rock Lake activity. So, why not rent a boat and spend the day on the water for some sun and fun! You can find marinas at Table Rock Lake, including Table Rock State Park Marina, Indian Point Boat Dock, Cape Fair Boat Dock & Marina, Campbell Point Boat Dock, and Baxter Boat Dock. The marinas also sell snacks, sunscreen, towels, and other boating necessities to ensure you have a fun day on the lake.

Hop Aboard the Showboat Branson Belle

The Showboat Branson Belle is one of Table Rock Lake's greatest treasures. This magnificent vessel was themed after 1800s steamboats take guests on a 2-hour cruise around Table Rock Lake. Aside from stunning lake views, the boat also provides a fantastic show and a three-course meal.

When you need a break from swimming or lounging by the lake, a cruise on the Showboat Branson Belle is ideal for enjoying the cold wind. The entertainment and cuisine are unrivaled! Bring a jacket because the boat cruises rain or shine, and the air conditioning inside can get a little chilly.

Go Camping

When looking for outdoor Table Rock Lake activities, immerse yourself in the Ozarks by camping on the lake's shore. Nothing beats pitching a tent next to a glistening lake. There are several campgrounds in and around Table Rock Lake. Table Rock State Park and the Old Highway 86 Campground are two suggestions. Both areas provide basic, electric, or sewer/electric/water campsites for various types of camping.

Table Rock State Park campgrounds are open from March 1st to November 30th, while Old Highway 86 Campground is open from April 1st to October 30th. Reservations are required in advance, and camping fees apply.

Go Kayaking or Canoeing

Take a kayak or canoe ride across Table Rock Lake for a thrilling water adventure. Kayak Branson rents kayaks, canoes, and stand-up paddleboards. You can take a guided tour at the lake or go on a personal excursion. These water activities are suitable for people of all ages, from children to adults.

Furthermore, no prior kayaking or canoeing experience is required. Thanks to a low learning curve and on-site instruction, your group will be ready to traverse the lake in no time.

If you've already had a thrilling adventure ride on the Branson mo roller coaster, you should try these exciting water fun activities at Table Rock Lake, which will leave you with lasting memories.
